Hi, I’m Chinh (Hoàng Minh Chính), a full-stack engineer in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Since 2019 I have worked at Stringee, which offers communication APIs and the StringeeX omnichannel contact center. I work across the stack there, mostly on web apps and APIs. Since 2024 I have also worked on Cogover, a low-code platform for running a business, where I own the billing and subscription module.

What I write about here

The real work of building software: decisions and the reasons behind them, things that went wrong, and what I learn from customers and other engineers. I am learning to do this in public.

What I work with

React, TypeScript, Vue, PHP, Go, MySQL and PostgreSQL. Lately also a lot of AI coding agents, and the guardrails that keep them honest.
